J.P. McDade

One of America's most prominent notables

J.P. McDade is a stand up comedian and comedy writer based in New York City, originally from Newtown, Connecticut. He performs regularly at various comedy clubs, bars, and small theaters around New York and across the country. In 2016 J.P. performed on New Faces: Unrepped at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal. He was named a finalist in New York’s Funniest 2017 and made his television debut that same year on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle II, filmed at the Comedy Cellar in New York. McDade has also appeared on two episodes of truTV’s Comedy Knockout.

 

As a writer, J.P. has worked on season 3 of Comedy Knockout, Sports Illustrated’s Sportsperson of the Year Awards, and as a contributing writer for the Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin.
